The Forest Summit: Global Action and Armenia seeks to facilitate open and transparent discussion of policy decisions on Armenia’s forests with the aim of catalyzing improvements in forest conservation and restoration internationally. In addition to a wide variety of speaker sessions, attendees will participate in field visits to forestry sites in Armenia, take part in social/networking events on the sidelines of the Conference, and visit some of Armenia’s most prominent tourist sites.
ATP Forestry Program plants 200,000 seedlings annually throughout the forestry program and employs 125 or more seasonal workers each season. To date, ATP has planted over 1000 hectares of new forest in Armenia.
