ATP 30th Anniversary Celebration in Boston, MA
Celebrate 30 Years of tree planting and environmental stewardship with Armenia Tree Project, and join us in our efforts to work toward the future of a greener Armenia.
Learn more about our work with our Community Tree Planting program, our reforestation efforts, our nurseries, Backyard Nurseries, and more, and donate to support our efforts and become a part of the change for a greener Armenia. And join us in honoring our retiring Executive Director Jeanmarie Papelian, and welcoming our new Executive Director Ara Barsam.
ATP’s work takes place in Armenia, but it is a great case study for other reforestation/afforestation projects. We warmly welcome participation from anyone interested in conservation work.
Join us at Casa Verdura in Glendale, CA on Friday, October 17th at 7 PM, and at the Sheraton Commander Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Thursday, October 23rd. Both evenings will feature hors d'oeuvres, libations, music, and a celebration of 30 years of environmental impact with Armenia Tree Project.
Our 30 Year Celebration is a complimentary event, suggested donation of $50.

Parking: Paid valet parking is available on site. Public transportation, ride share, and carpooling is encouraged.
Public Transportation: The nearest T stop is the Harvard Stop on the Red Line. This is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The nearest bus stop is Garden St at Concord Ave, served by buses number 74, 75, 78, a one minute walk to the hotel.

CTP SITES AVAILABLE FOR SPONSORSHIP
We have chosen 19 unique Community Tree Planting sites for sponsorship in 2024. Your gift will support site selection, training, tree planting, and monitoring of the site. In addition, we couple tree planting with environmental education within the community and local schools. Sponsorships also support these complementary initiatives.
Sponsorships are naming opportunities that range from $10,000 to $50,000 depending on the site size and location, and also include a sponsorship plaque which will be placed at the site.
BACKYARD NURSERIES AVAILABLE FOR SPONSORSHIP
The Backyard Nursery Program (BYN) enables village residents to create income from their existing assets, which usually include parcels of productive agricultural lands. ATP provides 1,200-1,500 seedlings to BYN families who care for and grow them over a two to three year period. ATP staff trains the landowners, supervises the planting, and monitors the site throughout the process. Once trees reach harvesting stage, ATP pays the Backyard Nursery owners for those trees which are then ready to be planted in community sites or in the forestry program. Those families then begin the nursery cycle again with a new crop of trees.
