COMMUNITY TREE PLANTING SITE
We have chosen 19 unique Community Tree Planting sites for sponsorship in 2024. Your gift will support site selection, training, tree planting, and monitoring of the site. In addition, we couple tree planting with environmental education within the community and local schools. Sponsorships also support these complementary initiatives.
Sponsorships are site naming opportunities that range from $10,000 to $75,000 depending on the site size and location, and also include a sponsorship plaque which will be placed at the site.
COMMUNITY TREE PLANTING SITES AVAILABLE FOR SPONSORSHIP
Bagratashen Village School
$10,000
Since 2022, ATP has planted 530 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of Bagratashen Village School located in Bagratashen Village.
In the forthcoming years, ATP’s agenda prioritizes crucial replanting endeavors at the school, addressing ecological needs as they arise. Additionally, ATP plans to include the school in its environmental education program, offering diverse classes covering a range of environmental topics.
St. Sargis Church
$15,000
Since 2022, ATP has planted 728 decorative trees on the grounds of St. Sargis Church in Noyemberyan City.
While the St. Sargis Church grounds is currently thriving with greenery, ATP’s upcoming plans include to maintain and nurture the existing vegetation and if needed, undertake replanting initiatives to ensure the continued vitality of the planting site.
Dzithanqov Village Park
$10,000
Since 2015, ATP has planted 1,235 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of Dzithanqov Village Park.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 100 trees and shrubs and include the village schools in its environmental education program, offering diverse classes, covering a range of environmental topics.
St. Grigor Narekaci Church
$15,000
Since 2015, ATP has planted 1,795 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of St. Grigor Narekaci Church in Nazrvan.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 100 trees and shrubs on the church grounds.
Ohanavan Kindergarten
$10,000
Since 2019, ATP has planted 585 shrubs and decorative trees on the grounds of Ohanavan Kindergarten.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 50 trees and shrubs and include the kindergarten in its environmental education program, offering diverse classes, covering a range of vital environmental topics.
St. Hovhannes Church
$15,000
Since 2000, ATP has planted 316 fruit and decorative trees on the grounds of St. Hovhannes Church in Byurakan Village.
In the forthcoming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 250 trees and shrubs to beautify the pilgrimage site and include the school in tis environmental education program, offering diverse classes covering a range of environmental topics.
Armenian-Chinese Friendship School
$15,000
Since 2018, ATP has planted 1,087 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of the Armenian-Chinese Friendship School in Kanaker-Zeytun Village.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 100 trees and shrubs and include the school in its environmental education program, offering diverse classes covering a range of environmental topics.
Akhtala City Park
$15,000
Since 2018, ATP has planted 1,205 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of Akhtala City Park in Akhtala Village.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 100 trees and shrubs and include the local schools in its environmental education program, offering diverse classes covering a range of environmental topics.
Etchmiadzin School N5
$15,000
Since 2012, ATP has planted 2,595 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of School N5 in Echmiatzin City.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 100 trees and shrubs and include the local schools in its environmental education program, offering diverse classes covering a range of environmental topics.
Khndzoresk Village School
$15,000
Since 2010, ATP has planted 825 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of Khndzoresk Village School in Khndzoresk Village.
The Khndzoresk Village School is undergoing construction for a new building. Upon completion of the construction, additional trees will be planted on the site.
Armenian Lighthouse Foundation
$15,000
Since 2011, ATP has planted 2,667 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of the Light House Foundation in Ptghunk Village in Armavir.
While this planting site is currently thriving with greenery, ATP’s upcoming plans include to maintain and nurture the existing vegetation and if needed, undertake replanting initiatives to ensure the continued vitality of the planting site.
St. Mary Church of Aratashen Village
$15,000
Since 2014, ATP has planted 1,235 shrubs and decorative trees on the grounds of Saint Mary Church in Aratashen Village.

Chess Academy Yerevan

Since 2009, ATP has planted 939 shrubs and decorative trees on the grounds of Chess Academy Yerevan.
While the Center’s grounds is currently thriving with greenery, ATP’s upcoming plans include to maintain and nurture the existing vegetation and if needed, undertake replanting initiatives to ensure the continued vitality of the planting site.
Akhtala Monastery
$25,000
Since 2019, ATP has planted 1,523 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of Dzithanqov Village Park.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 100 trees and shrubs in the yard of Akhtala Monastery, and also include the local school of Akhtala Town in its environmental education program, offering diverse classes covering a range of environmental topics.
St. Astvatsatin Church
$20,000
Since 2007, ATP has planted 1,079 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of St. Astvatsatin Church in Nork Marash Village.
While the St. Astvatsatsin Church is currently thriving with greenery, ATP’s upcoming plans include to maintain and nurture the existing vegetation and if needed, undertake replanting initiatives to ensure the continued vitality of the planting site.
St. Mariam Church
$25,000
Since 1994, ATP has planted 510 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of St. Mariam Church in Malatia-Sebastia Village.
While this planting site is currently thriving with greenery, ATP’s upcoming plans include to maintain and nurture the existing vegetation and if needed, undertake replanting initiatives to ensure the continued vitality of the planting site.
Metsamor Museum
$20,000
Since 2020, ATP has planted 339 fruit, nut, and decorative trees on the grounds of Metsamor Museum in Taronik Village, just outside of Yerevan.
In the coming years, ATP plans to plant an additional 100 trees and shrubs at the site.
Rehabilitation City of Heroes
$50,000
Since 2022 ATP has planted 1,102 shrubs, fruit and decorative trees on the grounds of the Rehabilitation Center of Heroes, located in Proshyan Village, Aragatsotn Region.
Currently the Center is undergoing construction for a new building. Upon completion of the construction, additional trees will be planted on the site.

Aknashen Village Sponsorship
Sponsored by the Aznoian Family in Memory of Nicholas Aznoian
Known for growing grapes since the early 19th Century, Aknashen has become a champion for producing mouthwatering plums, peaches, and apples. ATP has partnered with village leadership of Aknashen to design a program to help people thrive. Since then ATP has planted 4,668 trees in Aknashen including 8-10 fruit and nut trees given to each of the 450 families in the village. These trees are a source of food along with income for the families, helping them to move towards independence.
